During the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Cup in Emmen the city’s iconic Cycling Course and the Rondweg make up the battleground for some serious racing.

In close deliberation with all concerned parties, the organization has been granted permission by the province to partially close off the ring around Emmen for all traffic. Hence the participants have access to wide roads, magnificent asphalt and, more importantly, unlimited possibilities to perform at their best. Depending on their discipline contestants are facing a track of 2.2 km, (Team Relay), 7.1 km (Road Race) or 8.6 km (Time Trial).
